Episode 88

The sound that the three men made, did indeed sound like one voice, but the one voice that unexpectedly spoke into Professor Robinson’s mind alone made it hard for him to retain the blending voices.  Fortunately for him the message was short and sweet, but it unnerved him never-the-less.  Twenty-three little words that made him nervous with every note they sang.  ‘Close your mouth and move to safety the very second I give you the signal.  Do not hesitate, or you too will die’.  The voice had said to him, and him alone.  And for the next few minutes, unaware of the secret words that had been for Professor Robinson alone, the other two men continued to sing the enchanted song along with the Professor.  None of them aware that every word they uttered, in either speech or song, was being transmitted further up the corridor to the recording device that had been automatically turned on in William’s conference room.
